Early Life:

I was born on November 24, 1992, to Debbie and John Rizzo. I grew up in New Jersey with my younger sister, Danielle. When I was three years old, I began taking dance lessons and it was early on that I realized I loved performing in front of large audiences. My love for dance and entertaining has led to my dream of having a career in broadcasting, specifically hosting a radio or television show. During my educational years, I became involved in a variety of activities which helped to develop my leadership skills and fostered my ability to work with different groups of people.

College Life:

I started my college career at the Pennsylvania State University in August 2011. I entered college knowing that I wanted to go into broadcasting and immediately began taking the necessary courses. During my freshman year, I began to work at Penn State's television network on the talk show "The U". I worked behind the scenes with the sound boards and cameras and was subsequently promoted to the position of host. In addition to my broadcasting experience at Penn State, I was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority where I earned different leadership positions. I was one of the overall directors for Greek Sing, a large event within the Penn State Greek community. I was also a THON family relations chair, where it was my responsibility to develop and enhance relationships between Sigma Kappa and the Four Diamonds families and to make their time at THON, and throughout the entire year, a positive one. Lastly, I work at B94.5 with the Morning Zoo Crew in State College, PA. At B94.5 I work to both produce different segments for the morning show as well as co-hosting the show a few mornings a week.

In the Future:

I will be graduating from the Penn State College of Communications in May 2015. Post-graduation, I hope to obtain a job at a radio or television station in a metropolitan area. I would like my career to utilize my education in journalism, spanish, and business, as well as utilize the skills I have developed at the television station and other positions that I have held.
